Offshore wind energy

We have been advising our clients in the offshore wind energy sector for years. From our practice we are familiar with the whole project cycle, from authorisation to grid connection, tendering, planning and construction, through to warranty management – and all of this from our own personal experience. By combining our know-how in Hamburg and Düsseldorf, we can provide effective advice using small teams of lawyers, and where necessary, draw on know-how from other legal areas within the firm. Wind energy on shore

Successful wind energy projects require know-how from many different areas of the law. Thanks to the broad disciplinary composition of our firm, we are able to provide well-founded, practice-oriented and comprehensive advice on all phases of new wind energy projects. In the last few years we have supported many wind energy projects on land across the country, from the first idea, through commissioning, up to the operating period.

We advise industry clients, special contract customers and other major customers as well as energy intensive businesses in the areas of electricity and gas on all issues of energy law that they face – from issues surrounding grid connection and grid access to supply agreements and the optimisation of network charges and questions of EEG levies.
