Dr Brunstamp advises clients on questions of private construction law with a special focus on the consultancy of offshore wind projects. His consultancy comprises all phases of the realisation of the projects, beginning with contract negotiations, the fabrication and installation as well as the operating phase. In case disputes cannot be solved amicably, Dr Brunstamp represents the law firm’s clients in adjudication, arbitration or ordinary court proceedings.  

Recent work  

  • Representation of a windfarm owner in arbitral proceeding (DIS, English-language) about various claims from the supply of jacket foundations
  • Representation of the owner of a windfarm in 7 dispute adjudication proceedings (DISSGO, English-language) and one arbitral proceeding (DIS, English-language) about the installation of foundations (tripods) and WTGs
  • Contract negotiations for an offshore installation contractor about the construction of an offshore windfarm (all part of the farm apart from the WTGs)
  • Ongoing legal consultancy of a wind farm owner during the construction phase regarding all parts of the windfarm
  • Amendment negotiations with regard to the WTG supply contract of an offshore windfarm
  • Legal advice of a windfarm owner regarding corrosion protection defects and other defects of the foundations identified during the warranty period
  • Advising on the establishment and commissioning of various biogas plants
  • Various remuneration processes an processes concerning defects in front of ordinary courts
