Dr Matthies advises and represents principals and contractors comprehensively on all questions of construction and architects’ law, in particular on all aspects of (construction) insolvency law. This includes the legal support of construction procedures (out-of-court and in-court) as well as claim protection and implementation of creditors’ rights in a possible insolvency of the contract partner or another party related to the construction. A further key practice area is the provision of advice to company directors and partners in times of crisis. 

His clients include public and private principals and contractors as well as large and medium-sized companies and private property owners.
