Prof. Dr van der Hout advises companies, as well as the Federal Government of Germany, the federal states and local authorities, on specialised issues of EU law, in particular EU State aid law and EU internal market law. Key practice areas include legal representation before the EU courts, representation in proceedings of the European Commission and providing assistance in EU legislative procedures. Prof. Dr van der Hout advises in German, English, Dutch and French.
